Review: Essie Great Expectations

I got this a few days ago as a freebie with Tatler when I was stranded in an airport overnight (blerrrrghhhhhhhhh) and thought I´d do a little review as it´s my first Essie nail polish.

(Please ignore my gnarly cuticles, I have been without my Burt´s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for 2 weeks and it seems the natural state of my nails are DRY. AS. FUCK.)

Anyways, on to the review. I picked this light grey color because it was kind of unusual and a nice break from all the pinks I favor. The nail polish formula is really nice, and goes on really smoothly and evenly. To get a nice amount of coverage, I had to apply 3 coats, which dried… not that quickly. But it stays on very well and has a nice shiny finish. Overall, a pretty good nail polish and definitely a worthy freebie since they ordinarily cost £8.95!
