Foundations!

God, updates here have died out. Anyway, we’re gonna bring that back to life with summer/freedom! A few weeks ago I got a new set of foundation, cover up and a translucent finishing powder from Lily Lolo (my fave mineral make up brand.)

Yellow to neutralize undereye circles, green for redness and discoloration, and the neutral coverup is just regular. I also like to put a bit of of it over wherever i’ve neutralized discoloration. This foundation (Blondie) shade looked awesome in the tester jar, so I got the full size. However, if I pack it on it’s too light for me. Fine for everyday, since I like sheer make up for that, but a no-no for going out. So after a few unfortunate facebook photos, I decided to buy a liquid foundation. I settled on Max Factor’s Liquid Illusion, in the shade Warm Almond.

And I love this! It’s not cakey or too sheer, so it does a good job of saving me time doing a load of concealer. I apply it with my Sigma SS190 brush and it is perfect. I will love my LL mineral make up forevs but at the moment, my skin is dry and I don’t wanna pack on a bunch of powders, so I’ve acutally been using it for everyday too. And too hell with the whiny bitches at Makeup Alley who hate the packaging! I like that it’s in a glass jar. It’s swanky.
